The Olympics are here in Vancouver 2010. Are you ready? Have your hotel? Plane tickets? I didn't think so. They are becoming a commodity quickly. Like olympic events of the past, this one will be epic. Not only will it finally put Vancouver Canada on the map, but having the olympics in the Pacific Northwest will be nothing but spectacular. The construction efforts in NW Washington are staggering. The main stretch of road is currently being expanded from a two lane road with two separate bridges spanning a lake and a river is rapidly becoming a 6 lane highway. Vancouver 2010 will be a memorable year for Canada and the entire world. Time is running out to get prepared. So which is your favorite event? The bobsled or the figure skating? My favorite is the new snowboarding events. Whatever it is, the anticipation is building. Get ready Canada, here comes the world. Monumental it will be.
Will you be in Vancouver 2010 when history will be made? I sure hope so. There will be records broken along with bones. (maybe a few hearts too) See you at the games. One more thing. While you are up in Canada, on your way home, take a minute or two to check out a little town called Ferndale, Washington. It is worth your time.
